It’s important to take in consideration that San Diego is number one on the list because of the amount of neighborhoods it includes and its population. The areas include, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, University City, Ocean Beach, La Jolla, Point Loma, Downtown San Diego etc. As for the unincorporated areas, they also have higher crash rates because of size, many are also in rural areas with windy roads, which tend to be more prone to drunk driving accidents. As mentioned before, those areas include, Pala, Rainbow, Julian, Valley Center, Lakeside, Descanso, Bonsall and Bonita.
